Otago based Wanaka Beerworks are a true micro brewery, I sampled just one of their 3 offerings – Brewski.
It’s a pilsener style brew, with a nice big flavour, the likes of which are usually processed out of bigger producers brews.
Very light golden colour, a little cloudy, with a clean white head and a very slight homebrew aroma.
Quite delicious. Lingering mild fruitiness, with a nice little malty undertone.
Another good brew from the mainland, perhaps a little more filtration in the brewing process might help, but it also might destroy some of the wonderful character in the beer.
