Along with the improved layout of the New Zealand Herald’s updated website design came one slightly unfortunate change: while many users liked the changed font size, some found it much more difficult to read.
While they’re probably having committees and focus groups before publishing an RFP to invite a web development agency to help them sort it out, I’ve decided that it’s too unpleasant to wait, so have created and released a small Chrome extension that fixes it.
Introducing Readable Herald.
Readable Herald increases the font size and line height, making it a little nicer to read.
You can get Readable Herald (for free!) from the Chrome webstore.

This is my first Chrome extension, let me know if you like it (or if it causes you any trouble).
