The second I popped off the cap and of this big (660 ml) green bottle I was hit by a strong odour of delicious hoppy happiness.
Poured it out into a stein (I figured I should get out the heavy artillery when dealing with such a volume from the one vessel) it has the clear amber you’d expect, but with a darker heart than you’d see on something like the DAB Original I had last night.
It’s nice. It has a fruity depth, and a little dry – but not too dry for me. Strong sharp feel. Yum.
I like this one – and immediately this time, not only after the effects of the alcohol (5% ABV) have sunken into my brain.
