Oh, and it wasn’t just a steak sandwich, it was a steak sandwich and fries, and a coke. See?.. Me == Lucky!

George loves the coke.
I’m gave George a treat today, a drink of my coke, he loves coke, goes crazy for it.
I hope he’s not addicted.
Awwwwww yeah.
I’m so lucky. Claire must be psychic, or something like that, because no sooner had I thought that it might be a good time to go downstairs and get something to eat, but she comes home for lunch and brings me a steak sandwich.
Is she awesome or what?
Au revoir.
Heloise is no longer with us… Got out to the airport well in time, so there are a few snaps, for those who wanted to be there, but couldn’t, to enjoy.
The back! It hurts!
Another visit to the chiro this morning. Bloody back is so close to right. It’s really frustrating. Bastard of a thing.
Grading.
Went to another shodan grading yesterday, bloody impressive stuff. Bloody hard task. Took a great big stack of pictures, but have whittled them down to nary a handful for your viewing pleasure.
Very pleased with how some of them have turned out.
My next grading is in less than a week, and I desperately want to go for it, but my back is still causing me a great deal of troubles. Talk about your appalling fucking timing.
Gah.
Hypocrisy.
The other night we walked past a parking warden being a fucking hypocrite bastard.
If I parked in the same place he did, he’d quite gladly give me a $60 ticket, so why can’t I give him one?
I noticed that as I was taking the photo he started to look very interested… Being across the road he didn’t have an opportunity to ask me what I was doing. Would have loved to have gotten a quote from him.
World’s highest George.
Took George for a walk up Mt Eden today, so 2 firsts for the day – highest altitude of a George, and first meeting with a cow… He was quite frightened when one of them advanced towards him.
Also another visit to the chiropractor, cutting back to only 2 visits next week, and who knows after that.
Then I went and had lunch with my mother, which was nice.
A generally very nice day, actually. Yay lifestyle. 🙂
Moving in, moving out.
Might be a bit of a busy weekend, what with Dylan moving out on Saturday, and James & Heloise probably moving in on Sunday. Moving can be such a hassle, and I won’t even be able to help very much, what with my bung pelvis and all.
Speaking of which, my pain is now almost entirely gone, still clearly some issues there though – my lower back feels really weak and tired, I expect the treatment will continue for a while before the problem is fixed.
I’m very nervous about doing anything to make it regress. It’s not a nice feeling. Makes me feel so old, worrying about my back. Sheesh.
Corrections. To my spine.
Haven’t been updating very well lately. I’ll regret it one day, when I read back and there are things missing. Or whatever.
Haven’t been putting up galleries, either, even though I’ve been taking loads of photos.
I’ve had 3 visits to the chiropractor since Thursday. So, one every business day. Which has actually made a big difference, the pain is significantly less, but I’ve got some serious aching going on due to the ‘corrections’.
Here is a gallery of pictures I took at James & Heloises combined birthday party happening over the weekend, which I haven’t told you about. I haven’t told you about having them over for dinner last night either, or the delicious Sunday roast we had the week before (the yams were *perfect*).
